We use current rates and allowances of income tax and contracted in National Insurance contributions in our calculations. Current legislation allows for a maximum amount of £55 per week / £243 per month to be taken in childcare vouchers - this maximum limit is PER PARENT. Potential savings of up to £2392 are therefore available. In order to benefit from childcare vouchers your gross salary after taking childcare vouchers must not fall below the National Minimum Wage. If you are in receipt of Tax Credits we strongly advise you find out how they will be affected BEFORE you participate in a childcare voucher scheme.
